I have played all Resident Evil Games but this one is special. The game scenarios are depicted beautifully. You feel like you are in a village. The zombies look more like real people. Leon as a typical hero. The story was great too. The weather in this game is always foggy or misty which add to the horror. You feel the fear if you playing it for the first time. The story divided into three parts:Village, Castle, Island. The castle is depicted beautifully. Finally, no one forgets the Merchant(What are you BUYING, stranger). Its like this game took place in a fantasy place. Resident Evil 5 may look more realistic but that just kills the fear and fun part.

I've played re0-re6 and this is hands down my favorite. I love the challenge of being outnumbered so often during the game and having to think of strategies to eliminate enemies to slowly even the odds. The merchant is a nice touch to the game and a little comic relief also. Being able to buy and upgrade weapons to your liking I thought was a good idea. I specifically bought my PS2 for this game when it came out and its still my favorite today.

Easily the best game of the series. The journey you go through by going through an infected village full of people trying to kill you. Only to head into a castle full of druids. And finally an island based army just to save and bring Claire home. The controls are amazing. And this game just gives you so much action.

Not only is this the best game out of the RE series but it is the best game to ever come out for PS2. RE4 is the example of a perfect game. The graphics, storyline, weapons, game lenght and extras makes for a gamers dream. I will give this game a 10/10 and I have played everything from the golden cassette Zelda for the original nintendo, to Grand Theft Auto, TonyHawk, Metal gear solid, Tomb Raider, NFS, Call of Duty, etc etc.

It is the best game I have ever played. The story was basically mind blowing and it was not that fictional like my player flying and having mutating powers. Every Chapter had a new boss. Graphics were awesome. I loved this.

The best resident evil I have ever seen... the story and the characters are the best but the truth is that I don't like as much as the siries 1,2,3 because of the zombies... Resident evil should have been stopped until 3... and Resident evil 4 should have another title name. show more comments darr;
